Hello, welcome to our site. Ohio Valley Artifacts is the joint venture of two friends, and fellow artifact enthusiasts Keith Ray, and Robert Dills. We are native North East Ohioans who share a great interest in hunting, and collecting authentic midwestern artifacts.

We offer a two part 100 % satisfaction or your money back guarantee.

First, each piece carries a 14-day “return for any reason” guarantee. Although every attempt has been made post high quality clear pictures, we understand that purchasing artifacts from pictures is not as good as holding them in your hand, so you have 14 days to return any piece for any reason, as long as the piece is returned in “as sent” condition.

Second, all items offered for sale on this site have been microscopically examined for proper indicators of age, ancient manufacture, and to be free from indications of modern alteration. Each piece is guaranteed for a minimum of 30 days to paper as authentic and unaltered by any authenticator that is a member of the AACA. Arrangements for additional authentication time can be made, by request, at the time of purchase.

Please note that we sell only legally obtained artifacts and do not support the collecting of selling of grave related items or other illegally obtained items.

Shipping Policy

We offer standard shipping via. USPS Priority Mail at the rate of $5.00 per each 5”x 8”'x1 ¾” or 7”x 7”x 6” Priority Mailer box within the continental United States. In order to keep shipping costs down, we will combine as many pieces as proper shipping will allow. Larger, heavier artifacts may require additional shipping. Customers in Alaska, & Hawaii please e-mail for shipping costs.

At the request and risk of the buyer, single item orders totaling less than $50.00 may be shipped USPS First Class in a padded envelope at the reduced rate of $2.50 per envelope.

We strongly recommend insurance. We are not responsible for damage caused in shipping. Please see the following USPS insurance rate table.

It is not our intention to make money on “shipping & handling” only to safely ship quality artifacts to you while covering our shipping cost.

Accepted payment methods include, money order, personal checks, and paypal. Personal checks will be held one week. Please email us before sending payment to check on item availability.
